CSPD-PSTM 2D/3D – 2D/3D CSPD Pre-Stack Time Migration for Scattered Waves Seismic

The program realizes  a new method for Scattered Wave Seismics – Fracture Common Scattering Point Dip.  The CSPD method is based on the theory of inverse and ill-posed problems of mathematical geophysics and supercomputer calculations. The program is created for supporting  an exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits with  fractured  reservoir.

Program “Synthetic Data Modeling” of high-precision mathematical simulation of  acoustic wave field  for two or three dimensional (CSPD-SDM 2D/3D) arbitrarily inhomogeneous medium additionally included in the supplied software program CSPD-PSTM 2D/3D. Simulation programs designed to test the accuracy of solving the inverse problem by the method CSPD.

Programs CSPD-PSTM 2D/3D and CSPD-SDM 2D/3D require specialized computer cluster the performance not less than 1.5 TFlops, 0.5 TB of RAM and 128 CPU. The program CSDP-PSTM 2D/3D is designed for 2D/3D CDP seismic data processing.

For CSPD-PSTM  2D/3D processing, multi-channel seismic data prepared for pre-stack time migration are required. The data must be in SEG-Y format with static corrections applied (do not apply kinematic corrections!) and with source and receiver coordinates in trace headers. RMS velocities, in a text file consisting of lines in format:  x_coordinate (m)   y_coordinate (m)  time (ms)  RMS_velocity (m/s), are also required.
