CSP-PSTM 2D/3D – 2D/3D CSP Pre-Stack Time Migration for Scattered Waves Seismic
The program realizes a new method for Seismic Waves Scattered – Fracture Common Scattering Point (FractureCSP). The FractureCSP method is based on the theory of inverse and ill-posed problems of mathematical geophysics and supercomputer calculations.
The program is created for supporting an exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits with fractured reservoir.
The CSP-PSTM program needs a specialized computer cluster with not less 10 Teraflops performance and 4 Terabyte mainframe memories.
For CSP-PSTM 2D/3D processing, multi-channel seismic data prepared for pre-stack time migration are required. The data must be in SEG-Y format with static corrections applied (do not apply kinematic corrections!) and with source and receiver coordinates in trace headers. RMS velocities, in a text file consisting of lines in format: x_coordinate (m) y_coordinate (m) time (ms) RMS_velocity (m/s), are also required.
