Fracture Advanced Mapping Technologies
4DPRMTechnologies Team presents the Fracture Advanced Mapping Technologies approach for joint studies both pre-existing or natural fractures and the artificial fractures.
Fracture Advanced Mapping Technologies use the both methods as the CSPD method for natural fractures and the MicroSeismicPRMP method for artificial fractures.
The two our examples of such integrated FAMT approach are presented here:
- The optimal tight oil and shale gas development based on pre-existing fracture and principal stress models: Case study
- Detection of fractured reservoirs on the basis of combination of the scattered wave seismic exploration and surface passive microseismic monitoring at the Oimasha field (Kazakhstan)
FAMT approach is the basis of the two technologies designed to optimize costs in the development of hydrocarbon fields :
- SHD ( Smart Horizontal Drilling ) - technology of choice the optimal trajectory of horizontal drilling in order to maximize production rate, at the design stage of field development, followed by mapping areas technogenic fractures formed in the process of geological and engineering operations (hydraulic fracturing, waterflooding etc.)
- 4DPRM (4D Permanent Reservoir Monitoring ) - integrated technology of Permanent Reservoir Monitoring based on the high-density seismic acquisition system and using the methods FracturePRM and MicroSeismicPRM.
