SHD (Smart Horizontal Drilling) – technology of choice the optimal trajectory of horizontal drilling in order to maximize production rate, at the design stage of field development, followed by mapping areas technogenic fractures formed in the process of geological and engineering operations (multistage hydraulic fracturing, waterflooding etc.).
Technology is focused on cost optimization of drilling with the knowledge obtained about the spatial structure of fractured reservoirs by the methods CSPD&VPRTM and taking into account the facts of the high correlation between the density of fractures along the wellbore with oil saturation. Technology has no alternative in the optimization of the development of deposits of oil and gas shales.
