The 4DPRMTechnologies Team consins of scientists, programmers and oil geologists, which has more than 30 years of experience as a practical work at oil&gas research . The mathematical basis of the proposed technology has been developed within the framework of the Siberian Mathematical School on inverse problems of geophysics in 1970-2000 years in the Siberian Branch of Russian Academia of Science (Novosibirsk Akademgorodok). Siberian Mathematical School was headed by such outstanding scientists of the twentieth century, as Academicians Anatoly Alekseev, Michael Lavrentiev and Sergey Goldin. Principal investigators of our team are from this Scientific School. It achievements of the national school on inverse problems of geophysics, multiplied by the actual use of supercomputing are the basis for development carried out by our team.

Key employees of our team are from this scientific school. It is the achievements of the national school on inverse geophysical problems multiplied by the real use of supercomputer computing, are the basis for the developments carried out by our team.

The work experience of key employees of the team within the framework of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academia of Scienceexceeds 25 years. In 2001, the Ugra Research Institute of Information Technologies  was established by the our Team in Khanty-Mansiysk. The organizer was Gennady Erokhin. For 11 years the members of the Team conducted research in the field of mathematical methods of geophysics and tested the developed algorithms in practice. The CSP method was developed there. For the first time in 2003, the method was tested on real data. In total, during the Team’s work in Khanty-Mansiysk, the CSP method was tested on more than 40 oil fields. In Khanty-Mansiysk, in 2002, algorithms for solving the inverse problem of determining the seismic moment tensor for fracturing monitoring, which had been developed earlier, were tested.
